Too good to be true....
Since my last entry, I have decided to go the used car route, but it's proving to be a little frustrating. It seems that lots of people want to unload cars that will cost way more money than they are worth to get into running condition.
Whenever I think I am getting a good deal on a car, I start to get excited about it, but then the voice of reason takes over, and I start wondering what's wrong with it. Why is it so cheap? Has it been rolled? Will it explode the second I drive it off the lot? Arg.
Oh well, back to reading the Auto Trader....

May I reccommend Haldimand Motors? Jac and were SO impressed with the salespeople and the general attitude.
Definately worth the gas to get there.

K I'm really going to say the same thing as Rich. We were so impressed with Haldimand. We've already decided we probably won't ever go the new car route. They depreciate so much and with finding a place like Haldimand to take the possible lemon factor out of getting a used car we'll stick to used.
I heard about them through a friend of mine who's a nurse who's on her second car there, and the first she sold just cause it was time to upgrade. Her parents have been buying there for years. Also, my mechanic, who I completely trust (weird in a mechanic huh?) he told me if I was going to go used to go there.
Oh and the crazy car salesmen? One scammed me into filling out a little info card to possibly "win a prize" so I filled it out. Even after telling the guy we'd call the next day he called 2 hours later to turn on the pressure. Needless to say we did NOT call him again.
